Power flow yoga is a flowing yoga class in a heated room that incorporates the flow of the breath with movement, inspiring music is often an integral part of the experience. This is a very challenging yoga class that will result in great strength, detoxification through breath and sweat, increased flexibility and range of motion from flowing movements and deep stretching. It includes several vinyasas, long holds for maximum strength, focused ab work, inversions and arm balances, and concentrated spinal work. Keen focus, concentration, control of breath, and determination are required – a willingness to reach higher and burn brighter!
Power Flow Yoga is offered as a Beginning, All Levels, or Intermediate level class. The Beginning and Intermediate classes are indicated as such on the schedule, all others are considered All Levels classes. A regular and established power flow yoga practice is required to attend an Intermediate level class. |

Kate infuses each class with humor, creativity, strength and humility, and most often, an epic playlist of yogic music.

Angie Carlson's Class
Angie's classes, inspired by Shiva Rea's Prana Flow, combine classic sun salutations and yoga asanas in a high-energy, innovative, and fluid manner. We will get your blood, breath, and prana flowing, so that you will feel relaxed yet invigorated while building strength, endurance, and flexibility. Lively music and a fun and nourishing atmosphere will help you to break down limitations and awaken to your own state of flow.
Joan Bliefernicht's Class
Joan's flow is derivative of her teacher training at Feel Your Best Yoga and from her own practice. The intention is for the student to find a level that they are comfortable with and to make the class as individualized as possible, allowing for the beginner or more intermediate student to be able to feel challenged, yet to practice at the level that is suited for them. Joan loves to use props in her teaching as an aid to allow the student try most asanas and also to allow students to get deeper and more open in their practice. Each class is different from the last and often may find some specific emphasis, such as the spine or hip work.
Jackie Meacham's Class
An energetic practice that blends sweat, strength and flexibility in a class that tones the body and unleashes the mind. This class is taught in the style of Baron Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga.
Darlene Vander Hoop's Class
Dar's Flow is based on the Baron Baptiste Power Yoga series with an ecclectic soundtract added for mood, and to enhance the experience of melting tensions, strenthening the core, finding grounding while expanding into the heart energy...It's groovy, relaxed and fun. Sometimes Dar uses pure therapeutic grade Essential Oils to enhance the understanding of the 7 energy centers (Chakras) of the body/mind.
Alex Pfeiffer's Class
