This class will give you a good, solid foundation on the basics of yoga in an easy and practical form. Alex has taken his popular workshops and therapeutic seminars and broken them down into even more fundamental basics. Each class will take about 10 minutes to break down an important piece of the yoga puzzle and spend 80 minutes experiencing and playing with it. Foundations will focus on alignment, form, and mindfulness as it strengthens your body, increases your flexibility, and improves your balance. You'll also have the opportunity to explore brief philosophical and energetic (chakra) aspects as they relate to the practical (practice) mindfulness in Asana & Pranayama. If you've always wanted to delve deeper into your practice but never felt you had the time, this is the class and the opportunity for you. All Levels Welcome.
